Michael's Dad left home when he was 5 years old and part of a very large family. His mother took him to church where some very strong male role models entered his life and started him on the right track. Eventually moving out of L.A. to the Central Valley, he became fully engaged with a local church where other men in his life kept him on track. A 49 year commitment to a local church and was an elder for 12 years. This is a strong message on how loving people in his life, and a strong parent that found the right church, kept him on track to serve God.
